You corrected me, indeed, most bio fuels are diesel replacements, not regular gasoline replacements.
However I do believe that there must be some sort of bio-fuel available that can work on 2 stroke engines, as 2 stroke engines use fuel thickness between gasoline and diesel fuels (adding oil to gasoline kind of makes it like mixing biodiesel, or bio oils and fuel).

I think there's not a lot of research done about this, because a lot of countries have banned 2 stroke engines, due to pollution.

If they had, 2 stroke engines could be just as environment friendly as 4 strokes, as bio oils don't pollute that much.
