Default sprocket hub clamp

Ok so i got the hub clamp for my bike it a little to big for the hub do you think I got put a piece of rubber on each side of the clamp and it will be ok and not slip on the hub. Has anyone tried this or had this happen.

It will probably slip and/or wobble. Why not contact whoever you bought it from and get the correct size?

I agree with Tom (2door)

but, an aluminum shim would work a lot better than rubber
