No, the frame is all there, there is a piece of pipe slid over it to provide space for the cables to pass under the gas tank. It might be a pain to work on, but anything will be better than my old engine, which forced me to work on it (by breaking down) every few weeks. I am planning to build this one right so that I don't have to work on it much. I just finished the first part of the mounting system, which involves 3/16" steel plates and 3/8" threaded rods, I feel like I'm way over-engineering it because the mounting bolts were the last straw for my old engine, but better safe than sorry. And the giant bolts make it look more badass lol!

Yea that is a good motor. I just wish somebody made a 160cc OHV like the 212 with the steel sleeve for $100.
