the jackshafts also look pretty doable. looks much easier than CVT sounds,,,

another question,, if I install jckshaft or CVT how do i make it so i can pedal w/o engine friction, or starting the engine like alot of the videos of SBP jackshafts do

just got engine

Shaft size: 5/8" (16mm) diameter x 2.4" (60.1mm) L, end tapped 5/16-24 with 3/16" keyway
0.53 gallon (2 liter) fuel capacity
Hieght: 12-1/2"
Width: 11-1/2" (from end of crank to starter recoil)
Width: 12-1/2" (from air filter to fuel tank)
Mounting base pattern: 102mm L x 104mm W - 61.5mm W (4" L x 4.9" W - 2.4" W )

thinking of picking up CVT from 49cc yamaha raz

what would I need to do to hook it up?

after that it's just putting a chain+tensioner+ a king sprocket right?

also need suggestions on good steel bikes to hold this

okay so...

i like that I'd have another freewheel

should I go ahead and buy the CVT? if I could get for under 50$ seems like the cheapest option for all this,,, toss that on the engine,, put sproket to left freewheel and chain it up and....do i have it all ??

With a build like this one you are going to find that every step will be determined as you go along. A custom build for sure. Take a look at the other threads involving CVT's and jack shafts to get some ideas.
I don't think that anyone can guide you along each step without actually being there with you.
As for the rear wheel you have shown, I think it is a good one. I plan on using a similar one with the 4 stroke build I am currently creating in my mind's eye.
