If I knew where to find a matching rear bevel gear, I might consider it. ("Might" being the operative word here.) Cons: no pedal cranks either, don't know what size they are. Might need other non-standard sized parts. Pros: one less chain to break on you. Frame is likely pretty sturdy, if age and oxidization have not made it unsound.
