That an Aluminum Bike?
nope, steel frame. Torker Boardwalk. I suppose I could weld it up, but would I ever totally trust it? It is an excuse to zap, and I cant break it any worse I guess. Really, I had no idea this was cracked. And maybe its not all the way around yet and thats why. I assume this kind of thing would have been devastating to my skin at speed. Maybe my crappy engine failure saved my butt.

I think I'm going to have to start a new thread regarding the frame repair in the correct section, but I'm kind of thinking it could be as easy as stuffing a rod through the seat tube and welding it in at the crack?

I do that often - an old seat post, sawn off short and hammered down to the bottom so another post can be put in above it for the seat - then drill 2 holes & put a bolt thru each above & below the break - with a seat post fitting tight & usually thicker than the frame, this usually comes out stronger than before.
