I have a cheap store bought bike with lots of add ons rack, fenders, bags, lights, speedo, lock, tools, ect. Anyway, i weighed it with a cheap bathroom scale, and came up with about 60lbs. Just wonder how i weighed in with everone else. who's the lightest? We should have a contest lol

Well I certainly won't win. I put a 1 gal plastic gas tank on mine for more range with all sorts of other crap. I know it's pretty heavy but don't really care that much to weigh it, although it would be interesting to find out.

All you need to do is weigh one end at a time and a bathroom scale works just fine.

The gas/elect. has a real nice 50/50 ballance. The only thing is the wt. is just under 110#. The electric Mongoose is 80 lbs. Neither seem bothersome because of the wt. though.

I have an old early 90's cro-moly GT Outpost with a 66cc.

I know its old because its "non triple triangle" and not chinese.

Anyway, its pretty light and strong. Its weight is 50lb dry.

My alloy 700C shifter bike is 56lbs

"The Dragon Lady", my twin-engined girlie cruiser weighed 100 pounds. My friend Hawaii Ed helped me carry up the side of the cliff at Ka'ena Point.

My Diamondback Response with Scooterguy drive and single Mits engine should weigh 55lbs.

I had parked one of my bikes out in front of a Menards Store one day last summer. I come out and a guy is picking it up. I walk up to him and he say's "This thing is kind of heavy for a bicycle." I said, what the **** do you think, its got a motor on it!

I think ya got it STV! 45 LBS, you gotta fly on that thing. 190 total.

(on the Honda and me at 160 or so, do 32 MPH at cruise. makes it 228 LBS or so)((not including fuel, with a half gallon US. figure 4 pounds?))

Bike is ~35lbs, 66cc engine kit is ~29lbs gas is ~4lbs so it should be around 68lbs after I get it all together. I weigh about 150lbs. A 49cc 4-stroke dirt bike weighs around +130lbs!
