For my next build I want to go the non-kit route. I have a 6 Hp 4 cycle engine available, along with a 12 tooth centrifugal clutch. I want to do the build with a chopped 26 in frame using the 26 inch wheels. From what I can measure the clutch engages at about 2000 rpm. I am about 200 lbs. I have looked through the forum and not found any information that would give me the proper gearing for this configuration. I hope someone out there can provide some insight on what I should use as the reduction ratio. Thaks in advance for your support.

prolly about 8:1 that will get you to about 35
or 7:1 for right around 40
to do that much reduction you'll have to run a jack shaft unless you can find a 84-95 tooth sprocket for the axel or get a 10 tooth clutch then get a 70-80 tooth sprocket
