If your carb starts to leak fuel while the engine is running or not, you could have a leaky float filling with fuel. the best and cheapest fix for this:
1. drill two 1/8 holes. one on either end from the other to drain the fuel out.
2. grab yourself a soldering iron with a flat tip and a thin white water bottle cap
3. cut the cap into strips you can hold for melting
4. use the heated soldering iron and a strip of the cap and melt it on the holes you drilled.
5. now after you complete that you will do two more things, you will see a seam where the two pieces of the float snap together. run the solding iron in-line with the seam and melt them together. (watch closely as to not burn through the float or you will need to repair that.
6. lastly you will repeat #5 but in the center of the (donut hole). for this you will use the side of the heated tip.

follow this and you can stop the waiting for parts in the mail and have your bike up and running in no time. have a good day
