Well gentleman,
I too am done with the Chinese motors. Been reading all your builds with the Franco Morini engine and that is what I have purchased, the S6S. Be doing this build over this winter. Was wandering if anyone had any input on the number of teeth to run on the rear wheel for single speed? Bike and my combined weight 300 pounds. Not looking to go fast, 30 max good take off and hills ease. My 10T motor sprocket specs out as a # 41 chain is that you guys have?

With the 62 tooth rear sprocket any idea of top end speed and how is your start out power and are you able to cruise at speeds around 20 mpg or do you have to keep motor cranked up? Any info you could give will greatly help so I don’t have to do a bunch of math.
Thanks Bob

I haven't gps ed it but about 40 mph--it has the 26" rear wheel now--you dont have to peddle to start out--it will cruise at 20 mph but wants to go faster--all its power is at the top of the rpm band.Sorry for the late reply.
