I have a 66/80cc 2 stroke engine. What my problem was that I would have the throttle at around 1/4 and it would be fine then the RPMS would cut in half so I give it more throttle and it is normal again. I believe it's 4 stroking except above 1/4 throttle. Since then now I have gotten the high performance carburetor and it gives better speed and power but now it's 4 stroking even more except at full throttle. The jet needle is fix and I'm running 20:1 oil/fuel mix. What is the remedy if there is one?

i'm new, but i would say check the connections the cv unit and replace the spark plug with a better or clean and gap it. i think what ever your problems is, it is spark, if you have more then one cv test it to see if one makes your bike run better.

20:1 isn't bad for the first part of the run in period, but once the engine gets some miles on it, most folks go to a mix closer to 32:1
