The latest HFT catalog offers 20% off total purchase in store and their 6-1/2 HP horiz. shaft engine for $98.95. I have one in my 3-speed Monarch and it kicks A-- I need to gear it down a bit but the torque is amazing. I just made a smaller idler pulley for the clutch and decided to go a bit bigger on the jackshaft sprocket. The old one was a worn out timing belt pulley and made embarasing squeals when taking off..wee.

The 20% off entire purchase offer $100 is a coupon. The $99 price for the 212 motor is also a coupon so it can't be combined with the 20% off one. When a item has special "Sale" price you can apply a % off coupon. Late August the 212 cc was $99 sale price, along with a 20% off a single item coupon and you had a damn good deal for $80.
For most builds the 212 is a bit too much. Too bad they replaced the 99cc with the 79cc. but not before I stocked up. :)
