New Departure hub sprocket adapter ???

I'm almost ashamed to say that I didn't even think about milling out a space for the oiler.... Hmmmm. Good thinkin'.
The adapter is only slightly larger than my hub so maybe a thin wrap of rubber... like a piece of inner tube... would do the trick?

rubber will slip, especially after it gets old and degrades. if you have to use anything, make a shim out of a beer can.
