i like the thinner ones for a smoother ride if you are just staying on the road and not going off road

I don't like that Kenda 1.5 city slicker because it has that channel right down the center of the tire, which is very thin rubber right in the middle of where it meets the road-

we had this kind of 1.75 street tire when I was a kid in the early 60's- after balloon tire era, and before it's return with "beach cruisers"-

it's got a nice tread, and is much lighter than a 2.25- and really rolls well- I got two for $10 each last sumer at a local shop cause nobody buys them anymore I guess.
