my 80cc engine starts fine but has no power and will not rev up. only thing that i have found wronngis the crank seal on the clutch side of engine appears to have come out or came apart. will this cause it to loose power and run bad. maybe it is loosing compression there.

Yes. If a crankshaft seal is bad it allows air to enter where it shouldn't causing a lean condition. Usually this is accomponied by a high idle speed along with a loss of power.
Curious; how did you determine that seal is bad?

thank you for your input because that is exactly how its running high idle no power. I happened to look in cover see if there was anything and put litttle grease on gear when i noticed the seal came out or apart behind small bevel gear. going to take gear off in a little while to see whats wrong.

You would not believe how much of a difference replacing a bad crank seal will make. It idles down perfectly now and has about 20% more power. It's more predictable too. They're cheap and relatively easy to replace, so why not try it?
