I'm planning to mount a sprocket onto a disc brake (Screw on not Splined) hub using a top hat adapter which will allow me to keep my rear disc brake. My concern is the engine and torque rotation will unscrew everything from the hub. Question - What type adhesive / epoxy should be used in this application? What have others done.

I have never had an issue with the bolts unscrewing or loosen up. I use blue locktite and tighten everything down good. I have had three bikes including my current one with sprockets mounted to the hub. Not one issue....

Are you are using a hub with right hand threads on both ends?

A threaded adapter on the freewheel thread may have some sort of mechanical lock, like a cross bolt. Does your adapter have this?

If there is no lock or clamp, then you should use Loctite 271, and make sure the threads are clean & de-greased. It can be disassembled with heat.
