After looking at Phantom Bikes "Bob Bondurant's Phatom series", I was taken back to my Cafe Racer days. (misnomer: truth would be from tav to tav.)

I loved the Bondurant bike, but the front forks looked a bit heavy for me, so I was wondering if people had any luck with triple tree from older smaller bikes that would appear a bit more in line with a lightweigh racer that I might create a small cafe racer with.

For instance. Is something like this adaptable? It got a lot of warts but I think some could be cleaned off. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PUCH...5707853QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
