Hi everyone.

I know everyone is probably thinking, a clock for a motorized bike? Geez bike computers have clocks why would I want to build one? Well this thread is more than about building a clock. It's more about getting familiar with electronics. There's a thread here about building your own CDI, wouldn't that be great if we all could build our own CDI? With some basic tools anyone can do their own wire harnesses, make CDI's, wire turn lights and break lights. Even wind their own magnetos, the only things you really need is patience and an open mind to new things. It really isn't hard. I'm in my 60's, physically disabled, bad eyes and my hands shake. As well as other problems which make it very difficult to use my hands. But I was able to put this kit together in less than 30 minutes.

Right now it's selling for $3.20. You have less than 10 hours to buy it at that price. Everything needed is in the kit. The printed circuit board is very well made. Best of all it really works. The display is top notch. It runs on 5 volts and has many functions. I still haven't checked all the functions except timer and clock and alarm. I checked those out. With a 30 watt soldering iron and some thin flux cored solder a child could build this kit. The printed circuit board has pictures showing exactly what go's where and it's exact orientation, +, -, so forth. This would be a great way to get your feet wet in building electronics. If you fail all it cost you is $3.20.

Surprisingly the alarm is quite loud for such a tiny speaker. You can conquer electronics with just some basic knowledge. If your interested in learning electronics let me know.
