Want to own a classic that is still in the original box and unopened? I am selling for $95.00 and prefer Paypal as the payment of choice. If your interested, please have a Paypal account set-up and the funds available. Shipping weight is 26lbs and box dimensions are 18" (Length) X 10.5" (Height) X 14" (Width). Shipping from California to Maine is approximately $35 for standard shipping. Use the Postage Price Calculator to get a price or PM me your Zipcode for a price quote: http://postcalc.usps.com/Default.asp...Time=8:00 AM

Just some history, this engine originally sold for $499 in 2002. In 2004, this kit was sold for $210.00. I didn't pay that amount when I bought it in 2004 from a Spit-Fire Motor Works dealer who was liquidating his inventory.

If your interested, send me a PM.

Thanks

Chris

Please open the box and take some pics as we are curious to see what the kits looked like and came with back then.
I don't think it will affect the price you get.

Maybe it is just some bricks in a resealed box? :D
Or maybe...If I don't sell it here, I am going to sell it on Ebay. Several Grubee 48cc kits are selling for more than what I am asking.

I think Spit-Fire Motor Works was in business before Grubee. Spit-Fire Motor Works was founded in 1999:

Grubee was founded in 2001:

One thing I found interesting. The web archive page referred to them as "Wing Ding" kits. When I bought my first grubee kit, the description said it came with the famous "Wing Ding" round head. Did Grubee buy the "Wing Ding" trademark from spitfire?
