help engine and throttle problems

so yesterday i tore my schwinn down and painted it and it was running fine b4 that then i put it back together and it would only run with the choke on then and then it would only run half throttle and wouldnt speed up or slow down then it was moveing useing the throttle but would quit throttleing up at about the a quarter of full throttle and would just die... then it was idleing really high and so i shut it off little did i kno that i would cease to run anymore but when i was running it on full choke then would turn it to normal it waas make a depper sound but get no throttle response faster or slower but like i said when i do twist the throttle it makes the depper sound and thats it and now it wount turn over at all plz help
