Okay, my dad's friend bought a BGF motorbike kit off of Ebay, and installed it on a 1960 Roadmaster bike. But the engine won't start... He's fairly mechanically inclined but he can't get the engine to start. He said it seems like it isn't getting any spark. I know lots of guys on here have BGF's so I thought I'd ask if this is a regular problem. If you can help out he'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

Yep, Maurtis is right.

Disconnect the kill switch, and make sure the two wires are connected correctly. Make sure you primed the bowl in the Carb. Put the choke on. You can even put a few drops of starter fluid, brake cleaner, or a couple of drops of gasoline, just to get it started. My first time starting was very difficult because I put some oil in the cylinder so I can get good lubrication during my first start. I think the priming and choking is the most important thing. If not, go with that link.

I'm sure he has fuel to the carb. By that, I mean the petcock is up and down not left to right...
