I was researching new CDI advance-able ignition boxes for the china girl...
It seems to me the CDI/advance units that are made for 2 stroke model aircraft engines might be feasible, once one figured out were to mount the hall sensor.
Being able to advance the timing in such a small package would be desirable over the Motorcycle coil and wire/KZ type ignition box.
Much cleaner looking , easier to hide.
Any thoughts?
Hit me up.

There are schematics on this site for a CDI that has variable timing controlled by a pot.
The pot could be manually rotated for advance, or else controlled by the throttle for automatic advance upon acceleration.
