I see that it is set up for 2 people to sleep in. I would cut it in half length wise for towing behind one of our bikes. There goes 1/2 the weight.

The wife and I went out to Yellowstone a few times (5th wheel camping) and you'd be surprised at the number of them out there. Most of the times we saw singles (as in people), and you'd be surprised at the older..women towing them. OK for two, but for 1 is great, its a good way of traveling to see the sights on a small budget.

Found this on GOOGLE

I saw a 1960's newspaper article once (archived online) that showed a home-made one pulled by a boy riding a schwinn bicycle cross country. It was very long (maybe 7 feet or so) and not very tall in proportion. He stored his goods inside, and put the bags out when sleeping inside. I think it had some kind of kickstand/leg so it didn't even need to come off the bike.

I'm used to seeing the "NASCAR trailers" style of teardrop, the old plywood and sheetmetal models towed behind cars and trucks, just big enough to stand in, with a tiny counter, propane stove, and bed. A lot of people live in them while on hunting trips.

My neighbor has one of those very small models like in the #1 post. It looks very light. Maybe if you racked your bikes behind the car, even a small car could pull it.

I have seen plans for teardrops on line. You could always use one of them, just cut the dimensions down. The one in the video would be great also!
