I've been meaning to put this up but I kept forgetting. I used to restore and race vintage snow machines and I have a few good resources for parts that some of you could use for your custom builds. Wahl bros. racing, Dennis kirk,Aaenn performance are some that come to mind. All are available on line and most have free catalogs on request. Wahl bros. are especially great to deal with and carry high quality items that can be used on our bikes at decent prices.

Sounds like some very interesting merchandise. I'm always looking for something that is a little off the wall. but I know it is available somewhere. For example 1 1/2" grade 8 stud with 3/8" x 20 thread on one end and 5/16 x 20 thread on the other. Or a cable stop with a screw retaining the cable and a small pin that you can slip through a hole and retain it with a snap ring so it would swivel in the hole. I hope my descriptions are some what clear. Not every gidget/gadget place carries these types of items.
