I'll post some of my diabolical daydreams next time I bring home the laptop with AutoCad on it. If you can dream it, the members on this forum can help you figure out how to build it.

Hold on to your hat Weekend. Here is my Muscle Ebike.
Truth is, when I finally build an ebike, it will be "low profile" because it may
have to be locked up at the park and ride all day while I'm at work.
Probably a normal mountain bike with the batteries mounted in a bag on the cargo rack.
Here's the muscle ebike.

Here is the "e-twin". Everybody has seen the electric chopper with the batteries mounted in such a way to look like the jugs of a v-twin. I am using two finned controllers to provide the vee-twin profile. Mounting the battery tubes from the chain stays. Looks better from a distance.

I found links to a couple of free 2D CAD programs:

http://www.progecad.com/compra/index.as ... 1&lang=eng

http://www.plm.automation.siemens.com/e ... ndex.shtml

I have downloaded the Siemens software from the above link. I had to increase
my virtual memory a bit to run it on my home computer.
It looks to be far easier to use than Paintbrush. The icons for drawing lines and circles are easy to find, and that's all you need to get started.
