Is it worth buying a kit and swapping out parts or buying them all individually?

The part's I'm looking to change are:

sprocket adapter
spark plug
plug wire
carburetor
dual brake lever
fuel tank

Who do y'all like best for buying parts?
(best price balanced against best reputation)

Thanks

plug, plug wire- autozone (ngk bp6hs,b6hs)(any 8mm plug wire with copper core)

carbs- ebay, or pretty much any vendor who sells parts, unless ur looking to go name brand, then get a dellorto

fuel tank, dual brake lever- ebay again, or mopedarmy.com in the buy sell section for moped tanks

most times you can get stuff off ebay cheaper than the vendors for ALMOST the same item...

I'm not quite understanding your question. The parts you listed either come in the kits or you can buy aftermarket replacements.

If you mean, which is cheaper, buying those parts seperate from the engine to make a kit or simply buying a kit, then that would depend on where you buy the parts/kit. Prices vary between vendors. You also must consider the added cost of shipping all those items separately.

As for "the best" supplier, that is a question that has been asked hundreds of times. It all depends on the person you ask. Everyone has good and bad experiences. The vendors that advertise here, on the forum, are all reputable. Aftersale customer support is considered more important than price difference, as a rule.

Good luck.
