Hello, I recently installed a new extended air intake pipe and now when i pull in the clutch, it goes full throttle.

So when im sitting still the engine revs all the way up.
Can someone tell me why this is happening?
Its just a 2in pipe intake. If pics will help let me know and ill upload some.
Thanks for any input you have.

A few thoughts ...Your carb is probably at the wrong angle causing float to stick and is flooding a bit, the angle on these extended intakes is also all wrong. Also the carb slide may have gotten misaligned on idle screw from messing with the carb and is sticking. Or lastly you have an air leak. These extended intakes are welded up really bad, I've found as many as 3 pin holes per intake from bad welds per intake. Seems they are all welded by a 5 year old. At any rate something changed. With float, cable, leaks, flooding, gasket, idle screw adjustment...or all of the above. Yep, Picts always help
