need help with throttle

ok i got the throttle hooked up but heres the problem, theres too much cable, the throttle does
not return to the normal position, and the cable slacks, what do i do?

the plunger in the carb is probably getting stuck. unscrew the cable, spring,plunger assembly. make sure the slit in the plunger lines up with the notch in the carb and slides all the way down. I dont think the plunger is sliding all the way down.
although i am still new to this.
i had what i belive is the same problum as you are having

That sounds like good advice....sometimes, the slide (plunger) will fit too tightly and not want to slide very well. You have the spring in there, right?

i got it fixed!, i found a way to make it work without cutting or bending the cable, i took a peice off my old bike and fitted it on the cable so it doesnt slack and now its going good
