Anyone with some experience using the internal motor silencing pads ?

I'm probably going to try a set of the internal silencers- I think they mostly appeared through the fall and winter-

I'm a little concerned about heat retention- Will they cause overheating?
With a long pipe on the 66 I'm fairly quiety and the 50 bike doesn't make as much noise naturally-

so for the 15 dollars or whatever I'll probably try them- has anyone had any problems with them yet?

The only problem I've had had nothing to do with the pads themselves. My clutch pins seem to stick out a little further than most and dragged on the material. I just cut the center opening over the clutch out a bit and no problem no more.

Plus, I can tell you they do a real good job of dampening the motor :) I swear the battery box is now the loudest component with vibrating but I think I got that dampend out, too.
