I have an old 2-cycle 4 HP Lawnboy I dismantled to replace the case seals and replaced it with a 6-1/2 HP self-propelled 2-stroke that never slows down in 8" wet grass and weeds. Gotta love 'em. Anyhow, I think I will get some sch. 80 pipe nipples and put a 90 degree bend in each of 4 and thread the ends for bolts to mount the engine flange. Each can be directed to the best places to weld it in a Cranbrook frame. I have a Comet VST that has a 1" centrifugal clutch mounting hole that is just right for the engine. The engine served me well for many years , starting 1-2 pulls after sitting under a boat all Winter in the Spring As it will be moving, I don't need the shroud and may machine some of the cooling fins off the flywheel. I had previously adapted a #40 sprocket to the Comet, but I also have an assortment of #40 rear sprockets from an old dirt racer. Might be a fun shop project for Winter.dnut
