Hi, I recently pulled the clutch off my motor and im wondering, How do I get it apart? IE remove part 3-13 from part 3-6 so that 3-9 comes free? (Part that holds the ball bearings and spiral gear to the rear clutch plate)

I know this is gonna send tiny bearings everywhere.. but I still want in there.

The ring with the ball bearings is a press fit onto the shaft. To get them apart, I hold the gear and tap the three pins evenly with a brass hammer.

Hmm, Hold the gear with a bored peice of wood or something?

I was afraid that might snap the gear where the pads are held.

So the 3 small 1/8" or so holes on the backside do not go through?
