lost my air filter

here is a simple mod for an airfilter. use an old pair of headphone foam ear pads, screw on the plastic thing for the airfilter then put both the pads over the whole area of where the filter is. sorry for the pic being a little blurry camera setting got screwed up.
i would say warm it up, medium throt for a few min, then hit it hard for a 15 sec then let it idle for a minute, go medium on it for about 10 min, then hit it again hard for about 30 sec. turn the motor off let it cool for a few minutes repeat 4-5 times then use motor averagely till after 1 1/2 tanks of fuel.

Shear energy pantie hose . Cheap and tunable just add more or less. I found a right guard deodorant cap that almost match the bikes color of blue a little RTV silicone dun!
Re: air filter
You can get a valve cover breather at Checkers or autozone and use that as a air filter. Just be sure it will fit your carb.

I would not recommend it, why take the chance of sucking in dirt or something else and shorting the life of your motor. But yeah, you could run without a filter.
