Hello all I'm new on here and have searched around the internet but haven't found much so I figured I'd ask you guys. Okay so I've got a 1979 Bmw Puch maxi 2 hp moped that has pedals to pedal start it. Well I've been wondering if there is a way you could wire up a ignition switch in? I know you could technically just pick it up and steal it but it'd be easier to just pedal start it and off they go! Maybe I'm paranoid too but I guess just wondering. Any suggestions welcomed! Big locks and a hidden kill switch is a good start. The hidden switch means the thief will be pedaling themselves to exhaustion and won't get far.
Ah the hidden kill switch would work. Just something simple like a toggle switch would work right? But with being a pedal start there really isn't wires to splice into before the motor add one in, its just that cable.
