this is a link where you can buy the NT carburetor.
which is on all of the chinese motors except the grubee gt5.
grubee carburetors brings too rich fuel.
I had the grubee gt5 and first it was running ok then later on it gets sluggish and hard to start and engine won't idle. and top speed got lower. and as soon as i changed my carb to NT carburetor. It was running very good.
you will find out as you ride your engine for more time.

I have the 2011 grubee sky hawk 66/80cc gt5. I removed the clear hoses from the carb (dont ask why i didnt sooner.) And it added 2mph to top speed which is now 27.13mph. So nt wont fit my motor.

those hoses are too keep the dirt entering into the carb.
don't remove them.
also you forgot to buy a small fuel filter from autozone and put inbetween the fuel line.
without the fuel filter, your engine won't run.
small debris can clog up your carburetor very easily.

The one on thepetcock isnt enough i take it? I went for ignition wire today.nndidnt buy it for 20 bicks. Ill got to aitozone for a wire and a filter. Question. Would a local small engine shop have a carb i could use?

no they don't have. It's better to buy the NT carbs I mentioned. they are designed for chinese bicycle motors. there is a lot of factors to consider if you are buying other carburetors such as fuel & air mixture ratio fitting on the intake pipe etc...

looks like you tried to put chain tensioner and gave up.
chain tension shouldn't be too tight that causes lots of friction when spinning the wheel with clutch engaged.

It should be just tight enough to keep the chain on the sprockets so the chain doesn't fall off the sprocket. which means it should be easy to rotate the wheels.

It is hard to use the chain tensioner since it rotates around the bicycle frame and makes the chain fall off all the time.

I have a spring activated chain tensioner if you want one. that would keep the chain tension work easy. or

though if you can keep the chain tension good without the tensioner, then you don't need this.
