I live in the suburbs of Detroit. I bought an engine kit and have been commuting with it 20 miles /day round trip. I am approaching 300 mostly trouble free miles. I installed it on a Cranbrook, which I can see is a pretty common platform. I hope to save some gas and some wear and tear on my truck. Pretty soon, the gas savings will have paid for the Cranbrook, another 1,000 miles will pay for the motor. But the riding is priceless.
I have enjoyed my time lurking here for the last couple of weeks. Lots of good info and hopefully I can contribute once in a while too.
