Unless you've done something to increase the compression then no.

What's really needed is gasoline without ethanol. There is no longer a local source here so Trick racing gas is the lowest priced gas without ethanol. The alcohol seperates from the mix and attack the aluminum and gaskets.

You seem to be running a happytime two cycle engine.
They were designed to run cheap oil and cheap gas.
You should use a good oil for air cooled engines.
The regular grade of gas will burn better in a happy time.
I have tried both premium and regular when I used a stock happytime engine.
Low compression, bad air flow, low rpms the regular in the us may be better than the chinese fuel and 30 weight motor oil that they were designed to run on.

The adition of ethanol to all fuels has harmed all internal combustion engines, and all of the parts originally designed to use gasoline only. From the fuel tank to carb and into the engine.

I try very hard to keep all water out of my fuel.

Cost wise use regular with a good grade of air cooled oil.
