I motorized a Day 6 semi recumbent with a 48cc Skyhawk. A few issues, had to drill the aluminum frame for mounting and also had to put a heavy duty idler on the top power side of the chain because of frame issues. I used a spanning bracket on the left side and found a heavy idler fron Piston bikes. Holding up good so far. The bike is very comfortable , that's why I wanted to try and motorize. Big seat with a big back support! For less sound I added a 12inch extention tube on the stock muffler, helped alot! I'm going to have Custom Motorized bikes in Wisconsin build me a Long Beach Cruiser over the winter. I ride to work and back everyday, weather permitting..cargo

Great place to go!
Lynn will sell you the parts if you want to build it youself.
I built mine with the mods I wanted.

Nice bike! I'm looking forward to meeting Lynn, she seems very knowlegable about the bikes and parts. I don't have the time to build another bike right now but I like to ride. I'll get a picture of the Day6 posted soon.
