I'm curious as to how long these simple little 2 or 4 stroke engines last for. If you can, please list the name of your engine, 2 or 4 stroke, how many CC it is, how many months or years old, and the amount of miles ? Also, if you've performed any rebuilds ? And Go...

2014 model, 66cc, speed carb, 56t, mildly ported, about 2000 miles. about half of that is hard core, hatfield mccoy trail miles. (mountain bike frame.)

2016 model, 66cc, speed carb, 56t, mildly ported. about 300-400 miles so far. (cruiser frame)

i plan to put SBP pipes and fred heads on both.

my bikes will always favor the low end, nothing BUT hills here... top speed on both is around 25-30mph. torque is critical, speed is not.

Thirteen cubic inch Briggs and Stratton flathead 4 stroke built in the 80's still running strong. Don't know how many miles, but plenty. Installed new rings and crank seals a couple of times.
