I bought that rear wheel to convert it into a front disc wheel and it does not fit on the custom forks they sell. I am using it with a 16 tooth bmx freewheel. I had to reposition the axle because of a 1 inch washer so...Maybe?

I'm not sure about the threads. But the way the axle is with that washer.....and I have that wheel on a 2012 Schwinn Delmar beach cruiser.

I think that wheel with the washer on it is to go from a multi-speed to a single speed. The washer would make up for the loss of the cassette sprocket.

Right?

Did you look at the wheelsets link on chainganglowrider BBB? 24" wheels,3 speed internal gear, forks, handlebars, and some more I believe. All one package.

I am positive that it accepts a bmx feewheel though. That's what I'm riding.
I couldn't find what I needed in the states,so I had to scoop up 2 wheels,2 disc brake kits, and a coiple of hand actuators. Everything I got from them I would recommend. Just be careful about ordering big. Packing kinda sucked.

They sell the wheel you want (Halo) and it has a disc rotor mount that you could use like Scotto did. I'm sure others have done this(I'm doing it but I will have use of the disc brake) but Scotto's build is right on the top of my skull. I'm not 100% on the spokes.

The spokes are 14g but its a 48h rim instead 36h. If you use this wheel, you may need a top hat from Kings Sales to mount the sprocket.
If I do a shift bike, I will use this as I already have ALL of the adaptors I could possibly need for almost any bike build.

I am doing a shift kit when I convert my cruiser to 6 speed, so no adapter necessary. I already have a 24" rim with a 6 speed cassette and 14g spokes. I can also find one just about anywhere I look. I require 12g spokes for two reasons. One, I dont trust 14g spokes on a motorbike period, and two, the front wheel I am purchasing will have 11g spokes. 11g spokes on the front and 14g on the back would look retarded. I doubt if I will find a cassette hub with 11g spokes unless i custom order it or have it built, but I think its possible that I might find one with 12g spokes, which wouldnt look so bad. Im just not sure where to look for the rim I want.

Aren't 11g spokes twice as thick as 12g spokes?

If you can have someone build one with 11g spokes you should do that. You might have to for the 12g as well.

The best I can do right now is a matching coaster brake wheel from pirate cycles with 11g spokes.

having a wheel built is expensive. the majority of the parts I need is already going to cost me around 500 bones. and thats not counting tools and parts that may need replaced between now and then.

I already know where to get a 26" cassette hub with 12g spokes, was going to get a 24" front wheel, but might have to get 26" wheels instead. im not using 14g spokes, and Im not paying to have a wheel built.

the main reason I was going to get a 24" front wheel was because it was $20 cheaper. I wanted a front wheel with a drum brake, pre-built. 24" front wheel with drum brake is $132, 26" with drum is $150. I found a 26" wheel with cassette hub and 12g spokes for $47, so even if I get the 26" front wheel, its still about $200 for the set. guess I will just do that.
