My solution for a paint booth...

In the Coast Guard, they don't much appreciate overspray getting on the walls, floor, doors, etc in Government housing.

So, I came up with this idea for a paint booth. It works VERY well. Kinda hard to see but there's a fan with a filter between it and the plastic, and it works GREAT. Nothing visible comes out, and after painting two frames and two wheels, the filter is fairly well clogged up.

The best part is, I just roll up the plastic, and take apart the PVC tubes (didn't glue them), and the whole thing disappears in about 10 minutes.

Enjoy!

Hey a down draft paint booth! Very cool! All you need to do is wet the floor so's the woolly boogers don't come along. That and wear a good respirator. I worked in a body shop when I was younger came to love a good respirator.

Great idea. When I just shut the garage door and paint, the pigment seems to migrate into everything in there.
