HeHe... Alligator Clips and I go back a long ways, to even before I got into electronic because they made great roach clips ;-}

Your battery connections wouldn't happen to look like this do they?

Those are Anderson 45PP connections, the PP means Power Pole type, like Molex, and the 45 is just the amp rating and they range from like 1 amp to 350A.

I have been in electronics for 30 years and never seen a connector like this before and didn't even consider it not being a male/female connection.

Heck they are more like those Connex or Lego or whatever toy building kits with multiple connections in blocks but not in the context of there always being a male and female ends!

I can't decide if I want to call them 'Eunuch Connectors’ being they are neither male or female or maybe ‘Hermaphrodite Connectors’, being both male and female ’;-}

See how they work here.

Who says you can't teach an old dog new tech tricks and have them embrace them?

I really like the thought of a single part that will swing both ways and may consider them in future builds for my ignition rewiring as they are pretty cool.

Fulltimer, piston bikes has a trike conversion kit. Comes with everything except tires and tubes.

Spiffy kit, pricey and only single speed but spiffy none the less when you have a nice bike and gas motor to attach it on.

My 7-speed electric is done all but a couple of little details and I posted on it's topic here.

My wife is home sick for the second day and my help called in sick this morning so I figure I'll just play sick today too and hit the couch and button it up tomorrow ;-}
