Now don't get defensive because this has nothing to do with motorized bicycles

http://www.thenewamerican.com/cultu...orida-students-suspended-for-disarming-gunman

I think it is completely unconscionable that 3 students doing the right thing
should be suspended for disarming another student intent on killing.

I tip my hat to the three and say they are real American heroes
they should be getting medals and not suspension.

If we as a nation are now so worried about the loss of life of one individual then might
I suggest bringing all troops home and disbanding the military!

I say we should all send Physical letters to Florida's department of edu
and bury them under an avalanche of letters!

now there would be a headline
Teacher hospitalized after being buried under letters!!!!!LOL

here ends my rant, what's your opinion?

...the insanity of political correctness.

i agree with you bro, this kid should have gotten a medal for saving lives, what happened to him makes no sense at all.

If those three young men had done nothing, there's a good chance we'd have read about another tragic school shooting.
Instead, they faced something fearful: a fellow student who was armed and in a very negative frame of mind. The safe thing would have been to leave by the nearest exit (which is likely similar to what the school had in mind). They did the RIGHT thing. They put themselves at risk to prevent a greater loss of life. You just can't get more heroic.
Risking your life to prevent the death of others is a scary situation. But if you know people could die unless action is taken, it is the right thing. Not safe. Not correct per school regulations, apparently. But right.
The school may say a lot of things, but they can't say those kids aren't heroes - and they can't say those kids weren't right.

Perfect example of what is so terribly wrong with America today.
We are circling the drain in my opinion.
If I were not too old to bother, I'd seriously be looking to emigrate to a desert island and form my own republic or something
