Where can I buy a stand alone motor? A 49 cc that with fit this?

the HS engines come with different size shafts (15mm + 5/8"),
as well as tapered and straight shafts...

that makes it hard to tell from the pics alone what other engine is compatible with your kit :(

It seems to me if that if the female side i.e. of the gearbox fits into the clutch housing then it should work fine. Maybe I am missing something but I am not sure what shaft size has to do with the compatibility of this clutch with the gear box I have. What say you?

I'm pretty sure most motors aren't going to come with the clutch. The clutch is part of the gearbox not the motor.

just call bikeengines.com and ask them, looks like a 77mm (3") three shoe clutch to me and the bell on the tranny looks to be the same, couldn't tell you if the ratios are ok.
