great job, love the simplicity and nice lines.
the only thing that bothers me is that pesky chain tensioner and no brakes !!!!
i used the manic mechanic on 1 build and the arch type on another.

It has coaster brakes, this is his 4+ motorized bicycle. I've repacked them, I trust them and him. He's not new to the coaster brake slowdown,

You don't understand but thats OK, that is what bike forums are for.

I don't think anyone would dispute that brakes are #1, and that
NO MOTORIZED BIKE IS SAFE WITH JUST A COASTER BRAKE!
It's like $20 to put a front C-brake on so you at least have something.

If it's a close friend you might want to give him 3 brakes as most MB wrecks are caused by not enough brake to stop.

This is a Micargi Touch coaster brake with an additional pair of C-brakes going to a dual-pull brake lever mounted on the right.

Note the rear C-brake is mounted forward of the mount bar so the pads reach the rim.

The Dual Pull Sick Bike Parts $12 lever is here.

A pair of C-brakes is like ~$15 like these.

In short, friends don't let friends ride with just one brake ;-}

I understand the concern for brakes, and IF and WHEN he WANTS to add them caliper brakes can be added. It was built to His specifications. I have a set of Tektro C326 ready for him, IF and WHEN he wants to add them. His budget, His bike, My work.

Tektro C326 are made with a longer reach for beach cruisers. 79-99mm
