We tend to get more ice than snow here........and we've already had a 'significant ice event' this season. I don't think that I would want to depend on my bike in that kind of circumstance.

I've ridden plenty of miles on a motorcycle in the deep-freeze cold --- not an issue as you've stated. I've also done a fair amount of snow and sleet on my Goldwing, scary but the time. But at my age, I don't think that I'm willing to do that again. I guess that I've lost my 'invinceability' as time keeps roll'n on.

I do applaud your efforts, though! Helps make our age class look tougher!!
