That GT2 frame has the potential to be any kind of build you want from a low rider chopper with ape hangers to an off-road dirt bike.
Parts is parts.

I went flashy urban comfortable on my build.

It's a pretty short frame so I went with an extended gooseneck and handlebars that put it at a comfortable 'sit up and grin' height for a 6' guy.

A 3-speed nexus was perfect gearing for it, I got the colored wheelset with shifter in that yellow for like $125 delivered.

A shock fork with brake bosses is really nice and I'd recommend against triple trees, you let the fork slam against the tank and you compromise the frame too.

Just some tips and your work so far looks great.
