killercanuck? Are you still with us, now, a couple of years later? I've got the answer for your feet.

Put your bare foot into a plastic grocery sack. Then put a thick sock over that. Your feet still sweat. But the sock stays dry. And that makes a lot of difference.

If it's really cold, then you can put another grocery sack over the sock. With that, you can wear almost any boots and stay warm.

For even colder weather you can put a motorcycle boot rain cover over everything.

I hope it's not immodest: it's a thread of mine.

But the more I think about it, I don't really care. I'm not all that modest anyway. I have a healthy supply of cheerful self-appreciation
