I actually did it last week, but didn't get around to posting it till now. The darned thing would run pretty well, (for a couple minutes) then almost die, Then take off again for a minute, Then almost die, WELL, I cant ride it like that
So I checked the head, intake and all that cause it's gotta be sucking air from somrwhere! The only thing left was a bottom end seal. SO having all those good bottom ends laying around with bad cranks, I picked out the best looking one and traded out my crank and clutch shaft. threw it back on the bike and it runs like brand new. Rode it about a 8 mile round trip to a Dr. appt. and it performed GREAT. Rode in the traffic lane all the way home because I was passing too much traffic and getting too dangerous. Kept up and still passed some in the 35mph zone.
