I recently sold a bike with an HT that had well over 10k miles and the new owner rides it to work every day.
Totally stock engine with a homebuilt tuned pipe, 36 tooth sprocket and welded tensioner.
Look at my first Pig for details.
If more is better, then too much is just enough.
If you can't afford it, build it yourself.
