Anytime you break stuff, it's always a good idea to clean the bottom end extremely good before bolting new (expensive) parts on it.
I rinse out all my new motors just in case....
might have something to do with my excellent luck with these motors.
If more is better, then too much is just enough.
If you can't afford it, build it yourself.
